Return to Nature with BTFL

It was a real pleasure working with Birmingham Trees for Life at the Return to Nature festival in Holders Woods in Sept 2019. Lots of people contributed tree memories to our collective poem (it grew nearly as tall as me!)

‘Nana’s apple tree, a worm in every apple.
Maybe Grandad will make cider.’

‘My mother lies beneath a beautiful carob tree. My father visited her there often.
‘I couldn’t have found a better place,’ he said.’

Here we are performing it, with a join-in chorus. Click here to read the edited poem, Trees Join Earth and Sky
