Turning the Page, poetry from Reading for Well-Being

Turning the Page, poetry from Reading for Well-Being

I work with Polly Wright of  The Hearth Centre on Reading for Well-Being. Turning the Page is our first publication, showcasing poetry written by mental health service users in Reading for Well-Being workshops, alongside the original poems that inspired their writing.

Our City Our Past performance with CBSO

Our City Our Past performance with CBSO

I have a longstanding collaboration with CBSO education programme, working closely with cellist Jackie Tyler, composer Jeremy Clay and other musicians to write lyrics for songs and performance. Here,  as a Secret City Arts collaboration with CBSO, children from Merritts Brook school are performing a music drama based on my story, The Blacksmith’s Secret. They composed their own lyrics, and then developed drama, song and music with Pyn Stockman, Jackie Tyler and Jeremy Clay. They are performing here with CBSO players. Banners in the background by Pyn Stockman with students from four local schools.
